Frenchman becomes youngest player to reach milestone ahead of Ronaldo, Messi and Neymar
Dubai: Kylian Mbappe's 50th minute goal against Atletico Madrid during the 1-1 draw at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium last Saturday was a special one.
The goal ensured the Frenchman etched his name in the history by becoming the youngest player to achieve a combined total of 500 goals and assists in his professional career.
This achievement puts him ahead of legends like Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Neymar.
Messi was 26 when he achieved 487 goal contributions (348 goals and 139 assists). Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo reached 492 contributions (321 goals and 171 assists) and 302 contributions (213 goals and 89 assists) respectively by the same age.
Mbappe has scored 23 goals for Real Madrid this season. A significant portion of this new record came during his time at Paris Saint-Germain, where he netted 256 goals over seven years.
