In the new decade, Asian countries have firmly established their lead on the Henley Passport Index with Japan and Singapore holding on to their first and second places in 2020.

Germany [L] and South Korea are placed third in passport power while United Kingdom [R] and United States of America dropped to a shared 8th rank.

The UAE passport, however, is the biggest climber on the index in a decade - coming up from rank 65 in 2010 to rank 18 in 2020. The UAE climbed a remarkable 47 places over the past 10 years with a current visa-free/visa-on-arrival score of 171

Rank 84, visa free score 58: India was among the countries that saw the largest outflows of wealthy individuals during 2019, underpinned by concerns about authoritarianism, safety, pollution, and economic insecurity

Philippines and Azerbaijan passports share the 76th rank on the index with a visa free score of 67.

Pakistan's rank dropped on the index, coming to 104th rank - a drop of 14 places since 2010. The visa free score is 32.
