Dubai: Global Village, one of Dubai’s most iconic outdoor attractions, concluded its 29th season with an impressive 10.5 million visitors.

Residents and tourists alike are now eagerly anticipating the launch of its 30th season, especially as 2025 marks a special milestone – 20 years since Global Village settled in its 17.2 million square foot Dubailand location in 2005.

While no official opening date has been confirmed, expectations are high for an exciting new season filled with entertainment, cultural experiences, and culinary delights from around the world.

What to expect for Global Village Season 30

During Season 29, Global Village showcased over 90 cultures across 30 pavilions, offering more than 40,000 live shows. Visitors explored 3,500 shopping outlets, experienced over 200 rides, and sampled dishes from more than 250 dining options.

Season 30 is expected to raise the bar with new viral food stalls, international live performances, and attractions suitable for all ages – from children to thrill-seekers.

When will Global Village reopen?

Although an official opening date is yet to be confirmed, Global Village’s website currently lists October 2025 to May 2026 as the expected season window.

This aligns with the previous season, which opened on October 18, suggesting that the new season will begin as temperatures in the UAE become more comfortable for outdoor visits.

Retail registration now open

Global Village has opened registration for retail spaces ahead of Season 30. Entrepreneurs and business owners can apply for shops, kiosks, trolleys, and food and beverage outlets, offering a chance to be part of this multicultural destination’s next chapter.

A historic milestone

After moving from Oud Metha to Dubai Festival City, it finally found its permanent home in Dubailand in 2005. Today, it spans 17.2 million square feet, featuring more than 90 pavilions that offer shopping, dining, cultural experiences, and live entertainment.

With millions of visitors each season, Global Village continues to be a key destination in Dubai for locals and tourists.

Season 30 promises fresh experiences, from international cuisine and unique shopping opportunities to thrilling rides and unforgettable performances, cementing its place as one of the city’s top outdoor attractions.
