Wedding bells for Nisha Aggarwal

Mumbai bred Telegu film actress Nisha Aggarwal will be tying the knot with Karan Valecha, a businessman from Mumbai in the city on December 28.

“I met Karan through a common friend and we have been dating for the past five years,” Aggarwal said over the telephone from Mumbai.

“I love him for his jovial nature. I am so excited and now involved with my parents in the planning.”

Aggarwal, who holds a degree in hotel management, confessed that she was inspired by her sister, actor Kajal Aggarwal, to seek a career in films.

She debuted with Telegu film, Yemaindi Ee Vela, where her performance came in for much praise. The film was subsequently remade in Tamil as Ishtam, marking her entry into the Tamil film industry.

Coming up is her Telegu film, DK Bose, directed by A.N. Bose, where she is paired opposite Sundeep Kishan.

“I play a simple girl, who aspires to become an air hostess,” she said.

What about films after the wedding?

“Of course, I will continue to work. Karan has always been supportive of my career. Right from my debut film, when he came down to Hyderabad to watch the preview to getting me DVDs of all my films, Karan has been there with me.”
