Ed Sheeran to make acting debut

After winning hearts with his musical talent, singer Ed Sheeran is all set to showcase his acting skills through a “gruesome” role in a TV show.

According to The Sun newspaper, the 24-year-old will be part of medieval TV show in the US, reports mirror.co.uk.

“I have an acting job coming out after July. I can’t say too much about it because the pilot just got picked up, which is good, but it’s a TV show,” he said.

Sheeran, who was reportedly keen to star in HBO’s hit series Game of Thrones, added that his debut on TV will be no less than “gruesome”.

“It’s a medieval TV show and it’s really, really dark. It’s gruesome and it’s going to be fine because my friend wrote it,” he said.
