BTS's Suga's first real smile in years lights up LA: Jimin and J-Hope’s US diaries move ARMY to tears

 It has been two years, but we finally saw the real Suga smile. It’s something that ARMY’s have been waiting for, considering Suga went quiet after he went for mandatory military service, except to come out and address the DIU incident, and then returned to a low profile again. Even after he got back, ARMY has been dealing with ‘crumbs’ of Suga, be it at Jin, J-Hope’s concert, fully masked, or a few glimpses from the BTS’s members Instagram posts from their time in LA, where they’re preparing for their next album.

In a recent post by Jimin, Suga displays his real smile with RM, and fans couldn’t stop getting emotional. “It’s that smile again, he’s got the same smile!” The fans flooded Twitter with emotional responses. “That’s the family right there,” one said. Currently, Jin is still on tour and hasn’t been able to join them as yet, and fans are waiting for the full OT7 reunion. “Jimin stepped up and gave us the Suga update, just like old times,” when one fan noted.

 In the other photos, RM sits with Suga, V goofs around with Jimin. And in a story shared by J-Hope, all five of them, pose for the camera, while standing at a bankside in LA. 

In 2022, Jin was the first to enlist for his mandatory military service. J-Hope went next, followed by Suga, and the rest followed in December 2023. Jin returned in 2024, J-Hope in October, and the others came home in June. Since then, they have teased plans of ‘what’s to come’, which could include a world tour and a spring album.
