Cha Eun-woo showcases a unique and impressive vocal range in his best songs.

Cha Eun-woo acts, models, dances and could probably take down a demon or two if the script called for it. But one skill that doesn’t get enough credit: His vocals. As a member of ASTRO, he’s proven he can hold his own, so it’s it's unbelievable that it took this long for him to drop a solo debut.

Now that he finally has, we love it. And since he’s about to disappear for the next 18 months, here are some of his best songs to get you through the wait — perfect for late-night sulking, romantic spirals, or just missing Cha Eun-woo like it’s a full-time job.

1) Stay

Apart from the dramatic visuals of him biking through the roads or standing on cliffs, Eun-woo's Stay is full of yearning, longing and revolves around the desperation to hold on to someone who matters in your life. The desire, and anxiety comes through cleanly, and would be just perfect as an OST for a drama. It's moody, broody, and you might almost be on the verge of wishing for a heartbreak, just to feel this a little deeper.

2) Don't Cry My Love

Soft, slow, and just a little devastating, Don't Cry My Love is for that version of you — the one staring out the window like it’s a K-drama finale, questioning every life decision you’ve ever made. But if Cha Eun-woo’s the one singing “Don’t cry, my love” into your ears? Maybe heartbreak doesn’t sound so bad after all.

3) Focus on me: The Villainess is a Marionette

This one hits different live — but it’s still worth a spin. Soft, restrained, and effortlessly delicate, Focus on Me leans into what seems to be Eun-woo’s emerging signature: Gentle vocals that feel like a whispered confession. It’s not flashy, but it stays.

4) Where am I

Sigh, this one hurts, a lot. The emotions are rather raw, as it was sung for his close friend and Astro member Moonbin, who passed away in 2023. Eun-woo pours his heart into the song, that is filled with plaintive echoes, 'Where am I?' 'Where am I?'

5) Jealousy

This was from Eun-woo's bizarre and absurd show, A Good Day to Be A Dog, that still won a lot of love, because well, it's Eun-woo. But the song is fun, and mellow, and enjoyable. You might want it for a night out.
