Fuel prices for the month of April have reduced in the UAE, the Ministry of Energy announced on Tuesday.

Starting April 1,the prices per litre will be set at Super 98-Dh1.95 which is down from Dh2.03; Special 95-Dh1.84 down from Dh1.92 and E Plus-91-Dh1.77 down from Dh1.85.

The diesel price has been reduced to Dh1.95 per litre from Dh2.02.

This is the first time in 2017 that fuel prices have decreased.

In a tweet, Dr Matar Al Neyadi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy and Chairman of the Fuel Price Committee, said fuel prices are likely to be lower than the previous month.
