Several passengers reportedly jumped from the wing “acting out of fear,” while most used the inflatable slides to evacuate more calmly. Local authorities confirmed the flight crew made an emergency call, prompting responders to arrive within minutes.

Swift response

Replacement flight departs

To reduce passenger disruption, Ryanair arranged a replacement aircraft, which departed Palma at 7:05 am (local time). The airline apologised for any inconvenience caused.
