A magnitude 6.3 earthquake struck Russia’s Far Eastern Kamchatka Peninsula on Monday, according to the National Seismic Network of the UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

The earthquake had a depth of 48.1 km and was recorded at 8:34pm UAE time on September 15, the NCM said.
