UAE traffic fines: Get 35% discount in Abu Dhabi by paying early

Abu Dhabi Police are encouraging motorists to benefit from significant discounts on traffic fines by settling their dues early. A 35 percent discount is available if fines are paid within 60 days of issuance, while a 25 percent discount applies after that period — excluding serious violations.

Authorities emphasized their commitment to facilitating convenient payment options through a range of digital platforms, including the Abu Dhabi Police website and mobile application. The initiative is part of a broader strategy to promote road safety, reduce traffic violations, and support community members in resolving their legal status with greater ease.

Brigadier Mahmoud Yousef Al Balushi, Director of the Traffic and Security Patrols Directorate, said the discount forms part of the ongoing “Take the Initiative and Benefit” campaign. The campaign aims to encourage drivers to comply with traffic regulations while easing financial burdens through flexible payment solutions.

Abu Dhabi Police also urged drivers to avoid letting fines accumulate, highlighting the importance of timely payments to maintain compliance and benefit from the available reductions.
