ABU DHABI: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a phone call from President Donald Trump of the United States of America, during which the two sides discussed strategic cooperation and ways to strengthen UAE–US relations in support of mutual interests.

They also exchanged views on the latest developments in the Middle East.
