Dubai: Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced partial road closures on key routes this weekend due to ongoing road works.

On Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, three out of seven lanes (in the direction from Sharjah to Dubai) will be closed, along with one out of three lanes on the adjacent service road. The closure will be in effect from 12:00am to 10:00am on Sunday, June 1, 2025.

Additionally, a partial closure will take place on Al Ittihad Street, where three out of five lanes (from Dubai to Sharjah) will be closed during the same time period — 12:00am to 10:00am on Sunday, June 1, 2025.

The RTA urged motorists to plan their journeys in advance and use alternative routes where possible to avoid delays and ensure smoother travel during the maintenance period.
