Sharjah: The Sharjah Police General Command has officially opened the “Shamil Al Ihsan” vehicle inspection Centre in the Al Siyouh, Al Mowarid 2 area in Sharjah.

The new facility is the result of a strategic partnership between Sharjah Police, Emirates Petroleum Products Company (Shamil), and Sharjah Asset Management Holding.

This initiative aligns with Sharjah Police’s broader objective to expand the availability and accessibility of its services across the emirate and its surrounding regions. The new Centre is part of ongoing efforts to enhance the network of technical vehicle inspection facilities, ultimately contributing to improved service efficiency and the quality of life for residents in Sharjah and the wider UAE.

Opening ceremony

The opening ceremony was attended by several high-ranking officials, including Brigadier General Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Naour, Director General of Operations and Security Support at Sharjah Police; Ali Khalifa bin Shahin Al Shamsi, CEO of Shamil; Ibrahim Al Houti, Executive Director of Support Services at Sharjah Asset Management; Colonel Khalid Al Kai, Director of the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department; and Colonel Mohammed Ahmed Al Mahrazi, Head of the Technical Inspection Section. Representatives from partner organisations were also present.

Brig. Gen. Dr. Al Naour said that the Al Siyouh Centre is designed to serve a wide segment of the population, providing faster and more convenient access to essential vehicle inspection services.
