ADJD strengthens digital judicial services, processing 447,603 requests in six months

Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) has recorded strong performance in the development of its digital services ecosystem, continuing to enhance efficiency and service quality. The Department processed approximately 447,603 electronic requests during the first half of 2026, underscoring its sustained efforts to meet customers’ needs in accordance with the highest standards of quality, speed and accuracy.

The Department’s half-year performance indicators report showed that 317,266remote hearings were held, representing growth of 6.25% This reflects the expanding use of digital technologies to streamline litigation procedures and enhance the flexibility of judicial services in line with international best practices.

The report also showed that smart solutions continued to improve the efficiency of enforcement procedures. The digital system recorded 11,233 decisions automatically cancelling enforcement orders, through a smart system that enables enforcement decisions linked to payments to be cancelled immediately, electronically approved and the relevant entities notified without human intervention. This contributes to faster procedures, greater service efficiency and an improved customer experience.

Digital authentications also continued to record rapid growth, reaching 1,365,499 during the first half of the year. This demonstrates the Department’s success in developing its digital ecosystem and accommodating the continued growth in transaction volumes.

In the area of alternative dispute resolution, the Department completed 5,690cases through mediation and conciliation, an increase of 15%, reflecting the growing reliance on amicable means of resolving disputes efficiently and effectively.

As part of its efforts to support family stability and strengthen social cohesion, the Department conducted 6,126 family sessions and provided 314 online legal consultations, in addition to implementing 13,622 child visitation orders. These services contribute to protecting family ties and supporting family stability as a fundamental pillar of society.

In judicial and notarial services, the Department completed 44,531 transactions through public notaries, more than 11,000 transactions through private notaries, and 29,827 attestation transactions. These figures reflect the efficiency of the judicial services ecosystem and its capacity to accommodate the growing volume of transactions while maintaining the highest standards of quality and speed.
