While CBSE has not yet confirmed the official results, an announcement is expected soon
Dubai: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has not yet announced the official date and time for the release of Class 10 and Class 12 board exam results for 2025. Last year, the results for both classes were declared on May 13.
This year, the CBSE Class 10 exams were held from February 15 to March 18, while Class 12 exams concluded on April 4, 2025.
CBSE has strongly denied viral social media posts and media reports that claimed Class 10 results would be declared at 9:45 am on May 2 and Class 12 results on May 7 at 12:30 pm. The board clarified that these are unverified and misleading claims, and no date has been officially announced.
CBSE has revamped its post-result process to be more student-friendly. Now, students can first request photocopies of their evaluated answer sheets before deciding on mark verification or re-evaluation.
This replaces the earlier three-step process. The change aims to help students make informed decisions by reviewing how their answers were marked. Detailed guidelines will be issued after Class 10 and 12 results are announced.
A candidate after obtaining photocopy of evaluated answer book in the first step can decide whether to opt for Verification of marks which entails posting/totaling of marks or any unevaluated questions or Re-evaluation whereby the candidate requests for re-evaluation of a question or questions thereof. A candidate can apply for either Verification of marks or Re-evaluation or both as per due procedure after obtaining photocopy of answer book. The Central Board of Secondary Education
CBSE has stated that under the revised system, students can apply for a photocopy of their answer sheet, followed by a request for verification of marks, re-evaluation, or both—based on their review.
