Dubai: In a heart-warming gesture, the Dubai Police and several public and private sector UAE authorities came together to bring joy to children.

The initiative led by Dubai Police was held at Dubai International Airport Terminal 3, in collaboration with Dubai Airports, Dubai Customs, Dubai Immigration, RTA, Emirates Airline, FlyDubai, Dubai Duty Free, and Legoland Dubai Resort.

The fun event welcomed 33 children from the Al Etihad Charity Foundation, aged 4 to 15, who represented eight different nationalities including the UAE, Egypt, Pakistan, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Jordan, and Yemen.

The initiative included the children being treated in an immersive experience as they walked through Terminal 3 of the airport, which included immigration, lounges, duty free and more. But the best part of this experience were the surprise gift sets, and the meet and great with the mascots from Legoland.

The event was organised as part of the UAE’s Year of Community, which reinforces values of kindness and shared responsibility.
