Sheikh Mohammed visits Arabian Travel Market 2025

Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, affirmed that the UAE’s development model is among the best globally and has established the nation as a top destination for people from around the world.

In a post shared on his official X account, Sheikh Mohammed commented during a visit to the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai — a leading travel and tourism event attended by representatives from 166 countries and more than 55,000 global travel professionals. He stated: “Thanks to God, the UAE has sustained its remarkable tourism momentum, welcoming a record 30.7 million visitors last year. Tourism spending in the country reached approximately Dh250 billion.”

Sheikh Mohammed noted that the UAE’s airports are also on track to welcome a record 150 million passengers this year. Referencing the proverb that “people vote with their feet,” he highlighted the growing global interest in the UAE.

Underscoring the nation's bright future, Sheikh Mohammed added: “When tourists flock to your country, when businesspeople relocate here, and when investors channel their capital into your economy, that’s confirmation we are on the right path. Our model is one of the finest in the world. We take pride in this achievement, and we congratulate our President and our people — our nation has become a global destination, by the world’s own acknowledgment.”
