Thompson made Transguard ambassador

Dubai: Dubai-based Transguard Group, an Emirates Group company, has signed former England international rugby star Steve Thompson as its first sports ambassador.

Part of the 2003 Rugby World Cup-winning squad, Thompson remains England’s most capped hooker with 20 points in 73 appearances. In his role as ambassador, he will promote the company’s sporting initiatives which include everything from Dubai Hurricanes U16s backing to the bi-annual White Collar Boxing series.
