The 2021 UAE Tour got under way on Sunday as the world's top cyclists set off from Al Dhafra Castle to Al Mirfa in Abu Dhabi.

Dutchman Mathieu van der Poel of Alpecin-Fenix claimed the bragging rights after a sprint finish in Al Mirfa.
