It’s time to say goodbye to chilly and cloudy weather in the UAE. Winters in the country usually lasts from December to mid-March. As we gradually move towards summer, here’s a throwback to this year’s winter in the UAE. In January, temperatures fell to as low as 1.9°C in Jebel Jais, Ras Al Khaimah. We have put together a gallery of shots of fog and clouds across the country. This shot of thick fog enveloping skyscrapers in Dubai’s Jumeirah Lakes Towers was taken by Gulf News reader Nikhil Sharma. He said: "There was a cold breeze with cloudy weather covering Princess Tower and Sulafa Tower, when I took this photograph."
