"Nature’s beauty comes alive in Hatta" - Hatta is a stunning gem in the Middle East. Dr Naveen Aggarwal, a specialist anaesthetist at Thumbay University Hospital, Ajman, shares his love for this breathtaking destination. With its majestic mountains, crystal-clear blue-green waters, and scenic boat tours winding through rivers surrounded by hills, Hatta offers an unforgettable escape into nature’s beauty.
"Wonders of nature" - This breathtaking photo of birds was captured by Gopakumar Nair, a longtime Gulf News subscriber. Gopakumar, a purchase and logistics professional from India, has been working with a major automotive company for over 20 years. His photo beautifully showcases the wonders of nature — capturing an incredible moment.

Having lived in the UAE for over 34 years, Elias describes the “simply breathtaking and nostalgic” scene as a reminder of the tranquil lakes back home in Kerala. “It’s truly a wonder in the middle of the desert,” says the Indian expat, who is passionate about writing and photography.
"Winter’s embrace: A cloud-kissed morning of crisp calm" - As dawn breaks over Al Seef, golden light shimmers on the water, and birds prepare to take flight, welcoming a peaceful new day. This stunning moment was captured by Jijo Joseph Thomas, a photographer and a senior executive at an insurance company. Originally from Kerala, India, he has called Dubai home for nearly two decades. Through his lens, he says he captures “the beauty of balance” — where nature meets urban life.
"Stunning sunset and cotton candy clouds" - The Fujairah sky ignites in shades of blue and orange as the sun dips — a breathtaking moment captured by Kezban Fernandez. A British- Turkish teacher and photographer, she spent seven unforgettable years in the UAE with her husband and daughter, embracing its beaches, deserts, and warm community. Now in Uganda, Fernandez says she deeply misses the UAE’s magic, but the memories of Fujairah’s beauty and their sun-soaked adventures will always remain.
