The Kaghan valley in Pakistan received a heavy snowfall which blocked the Mansehra-Naran-Jalkhad (MNJ) road to traffic. Kaghan, Naran, Galyat and Thandyani received the first snowfall of the season and expected to continue. Naran town received more than 2.5 feet snowfall, Kaghan up to 1.5 feet, Babusar Top about feet more than 3.5 feet, Galyat and Thandyani received up to 8 inches snow.

The Kaghan Valley is in the Mansehra District of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa of Pakistan. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Tourism Department has planned three major tourism snow events including ice sports festivals in Swat and Chitral districts to provide better facilities to tourists and adventure sports lovers.
