With a fleet that includes some of the most luxurious and rarest vehicles in the world, Dubai Police offers a unique model that blends modern security with cultural promotion, through the Tourist Patrols Department, which has become a striking element in the emirate’s tourism and security scene. Brigadier Hareb Mohammed Saeed Al Shamsi, Director of the General Department of Criminal Investigation at Dubai Police, told the Emirates News Agency (WAM) that the Tourist Security Patrols Section, part of the Tourism Police Department and established in 2014, is one of the most prominent cultural representations of Dubai Police in the eyes of both tourists and residents.
