Dubai wakes up to fog, vanishing buildings

Dubai's residents woke up to a shower of fog on Wednesday.

The backdrop was hazy, so much so that even buildings seemed to vanish.

The roads disappeared under clouds for a while, causing motorists to slow down.

Buildings too seemed far away.

The haze lifted after a bit, but the nip in the air remained. The NCM issued red and yellow fog alerts in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Al Ain in the early hours.

The weather was expected to remain cool throughout the day. The maximum temperature in the country is expected to be between 24 and 29 °C. And, the lowest between 8 and 12 °C.
