Hundreds of UAE based Sindhi community members from Pakistan dancing to the tune of traditional Sindh folk music in Dubai.

Folk singers mesmerised the audience at the mega Sindhi Cultural and Musical Show held at the Pakistan Association in Dubai early this week.

UAE based Pakistani Sindhis Nisar Lakher (left) and Fahid Abro could not help dancing at the show.

Hundreds of Sindhi community members based in the UAE gathered at the Pakistan Association in Dubai to enjoy at Sindhi cultural and musical show.

Famous Sindhi Folk singer Manjhi Faqir who was especially invited from Hyderabad in Sindh Province of Pakistan, presented highlighted Sindhi culture and traditions through his songs.

Pakistani expatriates from Sindh Arfa Abro and Azadi presented each Sindhi shawls (commonly known as Sindhi Ajrak) at the event to strengthen the bond of friendship.

Popular Sindhi folk singer Zaman Ali who was also invited from Hyderabad, was much appreciated by the audience for his traditional songs.

A prominent Indian Sindhi community leader Dr Ram Buxani also participated in the event. He was presented a shield by Bashir Aresar,, one of the organisers of the Sindhi Cultural and Musical Show.

A prominent Sindhi community member Muslim Tunio (right) presents Sindhi Ajrak to famous television journalist Sibte-e-Arif at the programme. Unfortunately, Muslim Tunio passed away on the same night due to heart attack.

Children who attended the show wearing colourful Sindhi dresses , were given special gifts on the occasion.
