Inside Indian actress Shamna Kasim's lavish Dubai wedding

Best known for her dance performances, actress Shamna Kasim got married to a Dubai-based businessman in a lavish ceremony. She made the announcement on her social media account on Monday and updated her fans about this milestone.

Shamna Kasim married Shanid Asif Ali in an elaborate function in the UAE. Reportedly, Shamna Kasim first met Ali at a function in Dubai.

Posting pictures from the wedding on her Instagram page, she wrote, "Well I might not be the most beautiful woman in the world, nor do I possess all the traits of a good spouse, but you never made me feel any less of myself. You’ve adored me for who I am and never attempted to change me. It also encouraged me to work on myself to bring out the best in me. Today, amidst our near and dear ones you and I start this fabulous journey of togetherness. I know it is a little overwhelming, but I promise to be with you through thick and thin and support you forever love. ❤️"

The two painted a picture of domestic bliss as they posed happily.

The couple got engaged in June this year. The actor had shared pictures of the engagement as well earlier. For the wedding, she seems to have invited only her close friends and family.

Kasim's entry to South Indian cinema began after she made waves at the dance reality show 'Super Dancer'. She has acted in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu movies.

Shamna decided to go the traditional sari route on her biggest day of her life. She chose a gold silk sari and paired it with several gold necklaces. She opted to look like a traditional Malayali bride.
