Residents and citizens can travel to certain destinations from June 23, provided the fulfill certain requirements. Here is all you need to know.

The guidelines were announced by the National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) on June 17.

Important: Individuals older than 70 years are not allowed to travel.

Destinations have been categorised as low, medium or high risk.

Medium risk destinations - A limited and specific group of people are allowed to travel to these countries.

Medium risk destinations will be open to people who fall under specific categories.

Process for travelling. 1. Register with ICA at https://ica.gov.ae/

2. Get a COVID-19 test done 48 hours before travelling. 3. Apply for medical insurance 4. Sign a consent form for quarantine upon arrival.

5. Fill in other forms pledging not to travel to destinations other than those submitted in the form.

You cannot change your destinations after registering with the ICA or booking your tickets.
