Astrologer Shelly von Strunckel reveals what’s in the stars for you today
Aries (March 20 – April 18)
Reflect on the period that began in late August, when your ruler Mars moved to accent love and life’s joys. You’ll realise how much fun you’ve had, and in so many different ways. Yet that’s also meant you’ve neglected numerous practical matters, which means Mars’ move into conscientious Virgo is timely indeed.
Taurus (April 19 – May 19)
Although there have been times when you’ve earned your reputation for being stubborn, when you know what you’re getting involved in, you can be remarkably easygoing. Judging by the unexpected but ultimately amazing ideas or offers triggered by your ruler Venus’ alliance with inventive Uranus, the more flexible you are, the better.
Gemini (May 20 – June 20)
Few Geminis are suspicious by nature. But with your ruler Mercury in the somewhat paranoid Scorpio, you could allow minor concerns about somebody hiding certain facts to blow up into major dramas. The biggest challenge won’t be obtaining those facts. You’ll get them, but it will require serious time and patience.
Cancer (June 21 – July 21)
As a water sign, you’re more aware of the ups and downs of the moods of others, sometimes more than they are themselves. Bear this in mind when you try to reassure certain individuals whose reaction is to look puzzled. They’re unaware they’re anxious. Say nothing. They need to discover this for themselves.
Leo (July 22 – August 21)
When dynamic Mars moved into Leo in late August, you began a cycle of personal questioning, review and change. Mars’ departure ends this cycle, giving you a welcome break, and the emphasis shifts to capitalising on new ideas and ventures. While this won’t be as exciting, what you learn will be considerably more profitable.
Virgo (August 22 – September 21)
Even when you’re certain you’re right, you can be hesitant. This is in part because you dislike embarrassing others. But also, however sure you are of your facts, if somebody else seems more sure, it can shake your confidence. You needn’t force issues. This allows others to discover the facts in their own time.
Libra (September 22 – October 22)
Although the first of the current pair of powerful eclipses doesn’t take place until later this week, you may well be aware that certain things could change, and dramatically. Observe these developments but base no decisions on what you see. This is just the beginning. There’s far more yet to come.
Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)
Changes in plans aren’t just unsettling, certain individuals are very upset indeed about them. Yet you’re calm. That’s because you’re relying on your instincts, which are telling you there’s no need for concern. Those who focus solely on facts will be confused now and are likely to become more so by the day.
Sagittarius (November 22 – December 20)
As much as you’ve enjoyed exploring your options, many of which have been intriguing, if perhaps unrealistic, you’ll soon need to make some decisions. In fact, you feel that if you have direction, you can eliminate ideas that aren’t of interest or wouldn’t work and concentrate on those that have genuine promise.
Capricorn (December 21 – January 18)
Planning ahead may be a virtue. Organise things too precisely now and by this weekend’s eclipsed Full Moon, which ushers dramatic changes into your own life and shakes up the circumstances of others as well, you’ll wish arrangements were more flexible. Knowing that, avoid planning or keep it to the minimum.
Aquarius (January 19 – February 17)
Your initial reaction to the decisions of close partners, at home or at work, isn’t exactly positive. However, what they’re doing will have little direct impact on your life, so you’ll question their wisdom but won’t stop them. Begin discussing their plans and you’ll soon recognise how worthwhile they are.
Pisces (February 18 – March 19)
Disruptive as a sudden change in plans may be, the ideas or offers that have just come your way can’t be ignored. True, this will involve juggling both your own schedule and existing commitments to others. Once you explain this to them, they’ll not only understand, they’ll do all they can to support you.
