wheels' spy has snapped the M version of BMW's four-door coupé being tested around the Nürburgring
While the Audi S7 and the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupé have already begun nibbling on the premium four-door coupé segment pie that had long been monopolised by the Merc CLS-Class, the tristar is still unchallenged when it comes to the high-performance bracket. Not for long, though.
Our spy has snapped the M version of BMW's four-door coupé being tested around the Nürburgring, lending credibility to rumours that the M6 Gran Coupe will debut later this year or early next year. Aimed squarely at the Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG and the upcoming Audi RS7, the Bimmer sports quad-exhaust tips, aggressive looking bumpers and larger wheels and brakes.
Likely to be propelled by the same 4.4-litre turbo V8 from the F10 M5, this car is
widely expected to share its 560 horsepower output with the M-tuned 5er as well.
