Suits LA: Original ‘Suits’ star Harvey Specter is back in upcoming episode

Suits LA, the second spin-off of popular American legal drama Suits, is currently drawing mixed reviews from both fans and critics.

However, reactions to the return of one of the original series’ most iconic stars are mostly unanimous; Gabriel Macht, who portrayed powerhouse defense attorney Harvey Specter in Suits for nine seasons between 2011 and 2019, has fans thrilled about his guest role in the spin-off.

Episode 8 of Suits LA titled ‘Acapulco’ will see Harvey Specter return to assist his old friend Ted Black (Stephen Amell) with a mob trial that has taken a bad turn.

Suits LA revolves around Black, a former New York-based federal prosecutor who now represents a host of powerful clients in Los Angeles.

Gabriel Macht spoke of his return to playing Specter in a recent Forbes magazine interview. “I’m really doing it for the fans and to pass the baton over to this new set of actors who are going to create great characters for the show in LA.”
