The Philippines’ bet in the Miss Universe pageant, Mary Jean Lastimosa, is all smiles in this video and photoshoot for the pageant’s candidates on the official Instagram account @missuniverse. Is that winning smile enough to finally win the crown for the Philippines after several runner-up finishes in the last few years?

It’s amazing how Korean pop-star Sandara Park (@krungy21) never forgets her Filipino side. Last week, she took Korean comic Ryan Bang (who is now a celebrity in the Philippines) to a popular Pinoy restaurant in Korea.
