Kim Seon-ho reclaims 'romcom king' title with new show after four years, fans celebrate: 'He deserves so much'

And now, if you missed Kim Seon-ho and his rom-com vibes after 2021's Hometown Cha Cha Cha, he’s back with Netflix's upcoming romance series, Can This Love Be Translated?, which dropped its first look featuring  Go Youn-jung.

The drama follows the unexpected and heartwarming romance between Ju Ho Jin, a multilingual translator, and Cha Mu Hee, a dazzling top star. As their professional paths cross, sparks fly, and their relationship takes some unpredictable turns. Written by the famed Hong sisters, who brought us hits like Alchemy of Souls, Hotel Del Luna, The Greatest Love, and Master’s Sun, we’re ready for another thrilling ride. Needless to say, fans are excited to see the 'romcom king' return after four years. "He deserves his own kingdom of love," one wrote. "Is this even real," another asked. The actor, had starred in several thrillers in the interim period, including a neo-noir action film titled The Child, and The Tyrant.

Kim Seon-ho stars as Ju Ho Jin, a multilingual interpreter who’s fluent in English, Japanese, Italian, and more. Go Youn-jung plays the lively, confident Cha Mu Hee, a top star who knows how to capture the spotlight.

Set to premiere in the fourth quarter of 2025, Can This Love Be Translated? is one to watch.
