SHINee’s Minho buys Ha Jung-woo’s luxe Seoul penthouse for Dh12.5 million—K-pop star levels up in style

SHINee’s Minho has officially joined the exclusive club of celebrity homeowners in Seoul’s high-end property scene — and in serious style.

According to a report from News1 on April 15 KST, Minho quietly purchased Tierra House, a luxury residence in Jamwon-dong, Seocho-gu, from acclaimed actor Ha Jung Woo last May. The transfer of ownership was finalized in August, with no mortgage registered — suggesting the deal was sealed entirely in cash. The purchase price 5 billion KRW (approximately 3.5 million USD and Dhs12 million)

With only 15 units in total, each residence spans an entire floor, offering privacy, exclusivity, and a sweeping 2,636 sq ft of living space. The ultra-modern apartment features five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a spacious walk-in closet, and panoramic views of the Han River, courtesy of its prime location at the southern end of the Hannam Bridge.

Ha Jung Woo originally bought the unit in 2013 for 2.7 billion KRW (1.9 million USD), which means he likely walked away with a tidy profit of 2.3 billion KRW (1.62 million USD).

Industry insiders speculate that Ha may have used the proceeds to pay off the remaining balance on his new home at Upper House Namsan in the trendy Yongsan District, purchased last year.

Looks like Minho just leveled up in both real estate and luxury living — and fans are here for it.
