The 'MacGyver' actor sustained blunt force trauma in the fall

Hudson Joseph Meek, known for his roles in Baby Driver and MacGyver, has tragically passed away at the age of 16, according to media reports.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office confirmed that Meek died after falling from a moving vehicle in Alabama on December 19. He sustained blunt force trauma in the fall and was admitted to the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on December 21, CNN reported.
His death was announced in a heartfelt post on his Instagram page, stating, “His 16 years on this earth were far too short, but he accomplished so much and significantly impacted everyone he met.”
Meek gained recognition for portraying the younger version of Ansel Elgort’s character in the 2017 film Baby Driver. He also voiced the lead in Badanamu Stories, a children’s show exploring preschool themes, and appeared in popular TV series such as NBC’s Found and The CW’s Legacies. Recently, he starred in the thriller The School Duel.
The talented teen had several upcoming projects, set to be released after his passing in 2025.
