Producer and director Ekta Kapoor threw a lavish Diwali party over the weekend which saw the who's who of Bollywood in attendance.

Karan Johar — the man who can make or break careers in Bollywood — turned up for Ekta's party in a rather uncharacteristic black outfit as opposed to his previous flamboyant ones. But the fact remains, that THE Karan Johar was in attendance.

Bollywood actress Vidya Balan and her producer husband, Siddharth Roy Kapoor, came in their traditional fare — she in a gold-and-maroon saree, he in a blue kurta.

Ali Faizal and Richa Chadha made their presence felt at the party, but have decided to spend Diwali together in Himachal Pradesh, away from the bustle. Richa told IANS: "It's essential to take some time off and reconnect with oneself. Ali and I are thrilled to spend this Diwali in Himachal, amidst nature, practising yoga, and enjoying the tranquility. It's a perfect way to rejuvenate before diving back into our work commitments."

It was heartwarming to see the brother-sister duo — Esha Deol and Abhay Deol — together at Ekta Kapoor's party. While she turned up in a grey-and-pink ensemble, he chose a pink printed shirt for the evening.

Actor and director Tusshar Kapoor looked dapper in a traditional black outfit, embellished with embroidery.

Ananya Panday wore a daring shimmery, white bustier, but her cape came in handy when she didn't want to reveal much, especially while entering actress Sara Ali Khan's party.

If Ananya Panday is at a party, can actor Aditya Roy Kapur be far behind? Of course, not. He was there, slaying it in a crimson kurta.
