Starwood enters Tajikistan with Sheraton hotel

Dubai: Hotel chain Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide said Wednesday that it has opened Sheraton Dushanbe Hotel in Tajikistan.

The new 148-room hotel, owned by CJSC CHL International, marks the company’s entry into the market. It is located near the National Museum of Ancient Art, National Palace, Victory Park, Botanical Garden and a number of traditional tea houses.

Sheraton has over 400 hotels in nearly 70 countries around the world.
