66-day DSS 2025 to feature new retail offers, live concerts, family deals and big prizes
Dubai: Dubai’s highly anticipated Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2025 will return from June 27 to August 31, delivering 66 consecutive days of retail promotions, entertainment, family attractions, and exclusive seasonal offers across the city.
The 2025 edition is set to be the most value-packed yet, with a refreshed format that introduces new shopping phases, major concerts, culinary highlights, and unforgettable experiences for residents and tourists alike, according to Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE).
For the first time in DSS history, the retail experience will be anchored around three distinct promotional phases: Summer Holiday Offers from June 27 to July 17, Great Dubai Summer Sale from July 18 to August 10, and Back to School promotion from August 11 to August 31.
Each phase will bring fresh deals, mall-wide activations, exclusive brand promotions, limited-time flash sales, and generous raffle draws, making Dubai a prime shopping destination throughout the summer.
Flash sales and shopper-centric activations such as the 12 Hour Sale and Daily Surprises will continue to be a core part of DSS, offering limited-time promotions across fashion, electronics, beauty, and lifestyle brands. Participating malls will host interactive events, live performances, and competitions, adding to the vibrant city atmosphere.
DSS 2025 will also shine a spotlight on Dubai’s diverse culinary scene. Summer Restaurant Week, running from July 4 to July 12, will offer curated menus and discounted dining experiences at top restaurants across the city. In addition, families and visitors can take advantage of unbeatable staycation packages at hotels and resorts citywide, as well as extended access to popular attractions with value-driven deals and bundle offers.
A star-studded entertainment calendar will kick off with a show-stopping Opening Weekend from June 27 to June 29, featuring performances by Banah at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray on June 27, and Adnan Sami live at Coca-Cola Arena on June 29.
The festival will also host the popular Beat The Heat DXB concert series at Dubai World Trade Centre, running across two weekends from July 4 to July 13, starting with Tul8te and Almas on July 4.
Other highlights include Lebanese band Adonis at Dubai Opera on July 3, Indian playback singer Shreya Ghoshal at DWTC on July 19, and the Kuwaiti theatrical production Made in Kuwaiti at Dubai Opera on August 29 and 30.
Dubai’s summer calendar is further enriched by the return of crowd favourites like DSS mascots Modesh and Dana, who will feature in interactive zones, meet-and-greet sessions, and themed shows for younger audiences.
Additional details including more concert dates, retail activations, dining events, and family-friendly experiences will be announced in the coming weeks as part of the full DSS 2025 programme. The citywide celebration aims to provide something for every age and interest, continuing to position Dubai as a leading summer destination, the organisers said.
