On Sunday His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, announced key changes to the country’s residency programme, allowing specialists working in the field of medicine, science, engineering and technology, as well as exceptional students, to secure visas of up to 10 years. Foreign investors in the country will also be offered 10-year residency visas, as well as 100 per cent business ownership.
