Collaboration brings together two entities committed to fostering accessibility

Dubai: Amsaan Video Relay Service has collaborated with Gulf News to translate the latter’s articles into sign language using Amsaan's services. This initiative seeks to keep the people of determination well-informed about local, national, and international news.
“By promoting awareness and social inclusion, the collaboration aims to make the UAE a beacon of accessibility for the hearing-impaired community,” the companies said in a joint statement.
The agreement was signed between Vitalii Mykhalchuk, CEO of Amsaan-Video Relay Service, and Abdul Hamid Ahmad, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of Gulf News.
"We are delighted to partner with Gulf News to create a hearing-impaired-friendly ecosystem," said Vitalii Mykhalchuk. "This collaboration will empower the hearing impaired community by providing translated news articles in sign language, making essential information more accessible to all."
"We believe that the power of information should reach everyone, without any barriers," said Abdul Hamid Ahmad. "This partnership reflects our commitment to inclusivity, allowing the people of determination to be actively engaged in our news stories."
