UAE signs aviation agreement with India

Dubai: The UAE signed a final Air Services Agreement (ASA) with the Indian government this week.

The agreement was signed by Saif Mohammad Al Suwaidi, Director General of the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), and Prabhat Kumar, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation of India.

The ASA, reaffirms the existing agreement between the two countries and allows scheduled passenger and cargo flights between the two countries.

The agreement is in line with the UAE government’s strategy to enhance international cooperation through air transport.
