Sharjah: Friends of Cancer Patients (FOCP) provided food assistance to families of cancer patients across the UAE in cooperation with charitable and humanitarian institutions and several private sector enterprises in the country. The initiative was part of its annual activities undertaken during Ramadan.
In line with its commitment to deliver both moral and financial support to cancer patients and their families, FOCP carried out its annual ‘Ramadan Mir’ campaign through the distribution of foodstuff kits consisting of essential supplies of food items that were regularly needed during Ramadan.
A range of beverages, dairy products and packaged food items were provided by UAE Food Bank, a non-profit organisation committed to distributing food to those in need, with support from Al Rawabi Dairy Company and Fast CFS Cargo Services.
