Accredited programmes

For the upcoming semester, SEA is offering eight academic programmes that have been accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Moreover, three specialised professional development certification programmes in early childhood education have been accredited by the National Qualifications Center.

All programmes are delivered in both Arabic and English, ensuring accessibility for a wide range of educators across the country.

Practical teaching skills

Among the key offerings is the postgraduate diploma in education that has been developed in collaboration with the University of Helsinki in Finland.

The programme has been designed to enhance teachers’ scientific thinking, creativity, and use of research-based methods in the classroom.

Additionally, the academy offers postgraduate diploma in educational leadership that has been developed with the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto in Canada.

It has been eyed to cater to current and aspiring school leaders, focusing on how to lead educational improvement initiatives and implement effective development strategies.

Master’s degrees

Apart from these, SEA is offering four master’s programmes in teacher leadership and educational leadership, both available in Arabic and English. These programmes build on the postgraduate diplomas and are designed to deepen expertise.

The teacher leadership track centres on improving instructional practice while preparing educators for expanded roles within schools.

On the other hand, the educational leadership track trains teachers to lead large-scale improvements and apply advanced research to enhance institutional performance.

Early childhood education

As part of its commitment to early childhood education, SEA is also offering specialised programmes for leaders, teachers, and teaching assistants.

In partnership with the University of Helsinki, these programmes have been based on the latest global research, which equips educators with the skills needed to create engaging and supportive learning environments for young children during their formative years.

Flexible study options

Meanwhile, all programmes follow a flexible learning model that combines in-person classes, online learning, self-paced study, and practical application in educational settings.

"This model enables participants to balance their professional commitments with academic development while ensuring alignment with the latest global trends in teacher preparation and educational leadership," said SEA in a statement.

Given these opportunities, educators have been encouraged to take advantage of the offerings to level up their qualifications and contribute to the UAE’s evolving education landscape.
