Earlier, some flights from DXB were diverted to Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) due to ongoing operational disruptions, Dubai Airports confirmed. Travellers are urged to contact their airlines for updated flight schedules and travel plans.

Authorities have assured that further information will be shared through official channels as it becomes available, and passengers are encouraged to stay updated via airline notifications and Dubai Airports announcements.

Emirates to operate limited flights

Emirates has also announced it will operate a limited schedule from 10 am Dubai local time today.

The airline confirmed that some flights on today’s schedule have been cancelled. Affected passengers will receive cancellation notices and guidance on reaccommodation options. Emirates apologised for the inconvenience caused.

Earlier Monday, all Emirates flights to and from Dubai had been suspended until further notice. The Dubai-based carrier said it is working closely with authorities to assess the situation and determine when it can safely resume full operations.
