Dubai: Qatar reported 196 new coronavirus cases during the past 24 hours, the lowest single-day figure for several months. This brings the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 109,988.

The deadly virus has claimed three more lives, taking the country’s death toll to 177, according to the last update on coronavirus revealed by the Ministry of Public health on Sunday.

A further 201 recoveries have been reported in the last 24 hours, pushing the total number of recovered cases to 107,779.

There are 3,151 active cases, including 398 critical and 76 serious cases under intensive care.
