Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has warned commuters of potential delays on Jumeirah Street due to a partial road closure.

The closure will affect the stretch from Jumeirah Mosque to Union House on Sunday, November 16, from 6:00 am to 7:30 am.

Motorists are advised to plan their trips in advance and leave earlier to avoid disruptions.

Expect delays on these roads

The RTA has also issued alerts for road closures and traffic disruptions during the T100 Triathlon World Championship on Sunday. Commuters are encouraged to use alternate routes and adhere to posted traffic signs for safety.

Key roads affected include:

  • Al Athar Street

  • Al Hadiqa Road

  • Al Meydan Road

  • Al Manama Street

Salik tolls updated

To manage traffic during the triathlon, Salik toll rates will be adjusted on Sunday, November 16:

  • Morning peak (6 am–10 am): Dh6 (up from Dh4)

  • Evening peak (4 am–8 am): Dh4

  • Low peak (10 am–4 am& 8 am–1 am): Dh4

The change applies only on race day and aims to facilitate smoother traffic flow as athletes complete the 2 km swim, 80 km bike ride, and 18 km city run.

Plan ahead for smoother journeys

Motorists are urged to check alternate routes, follow traffic signs, and allow extra travel time to avoid delays across the city during the event.
