Ajman Police reaffirmed commitment to transport projects aligned with Ajman Vision 2030
Ajman: The General Command of Ajman Police has participated in the official opening of the Al Khor Bridge intersection on Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Street, in collaboration with the Municipality and Planning Department. This strategic development marks a significant enhancement to the emirate’s transportation infrastructure, aimed at improving road safety and easing traffic congestion along one of Ajman’s most vital corridors.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Colonel Ghaith Khalifa Al Kaabi, Head of the City Comprehensive Police Station; Engineer Abdullah Al Awadhi, Director of the Roads and Infrastructure Department at the Municipality and Planning Department; as well as representatives from the consulting and implementation firms, alongside several officials from Ajman Police and the Municipality.
Lieutenant Colonel Rashid Humaid bin Hindi, Deputy Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department, emphasised the positive impact of the new intersection on traffic flow, especially during peak hours. He praised the efforts of the engineering and technical teams for completing the project to the highest standards, reaffirming Ajman Police’s commitment to supporting urban development and transport initiatives in line with Ajman Vision 2030.
This vision seeks to establish a smart, safe, and sustainable transportation system that serves the entire community.
Lt. Col. bin Hindi also highlighted that the bridge has been equipped with state-of-the-art traffic monitoring and control technologies, reinforcing Ajman’s Road network and contributing to the highest levels of safety and quality of life for residents.
