ASSA was set up in 2019 to provide, oversee and facilitate social support for Emiratis
Abu Dhabi: Abdulla Humaid Al Ameri has been appointed as director general of Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority (ASSA).
His Highness Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, issued a resolution announcing Al Ameri’s new role as head of the ASSA.
ASSA was established in 2019 in order to provide, oversee and facilitate social support for Emiratis, under Abu Dhabi’s Ghadan 21 accelerator programme.
