Sharjah: Shoppers have won vouchers worth Dh50,000 in total and smartphones in Sharjah Ramadan Festival, which concludes on May 15. Eighteen people won vouchers ranging from Dh2,500 to Dh5,000 (totalling Dh50,000) in addition to three winners who won a smartphone each in the festival’s first raffle draw at Mega Mall Sharjah on Thursday.
Jamal Bu Zinjal, the festival’s general coordinator, said more “surprises” are coming as well as prizes of up to Dh3 million in the event’s 31st edition. He said the increase in prizes provided by festival organiser Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) this year has significantly contributed to a high turnout of visitors.
More prizes
Hana Al Suwaidi, assistant general coordinator of the festival, invited the public to visit the festival website to check the winners and locations of the weekly raffle draws, in addition to the latest news and deals. Yet to be won are three luxury cars offered by SCCI and other prizes from shopping centres, in addition to a draw on 500gm of 21-carat gold.
