UAE reports 1,542 new coronavirus cases, 4 deaths

Dubai: UAE confirmed the detection of 1,542 new coronavirus cases, and 4 deaths on Monday.

The Ministry of Health conducted 238,114 tests over the past few days which led to the detection of these new cases. 15,934,124 vaccine doses have been given so far. 

The total number of cases is now 651,762 while the total recoveries are 629,809.

The death toll, including Monday's update, is 1,870. There are currently 20,083 active cases in the UAE as of Monday.
